▶ Practise Reading School's exact format — freeThe test
FSCE entrance assessment — Future Stories Community Enterprise.
Paper-based, applying KS2 knowledge to the end of Year 5 — questions may draw on ANY KS2 subject, including science and general knowledge. Format deliberately changes each year; must reach the standard in every element.
How to apply
Register with the school March–May of Year 5 — the earliest deadline of any school here. Main test in July of Year 5 (out-of-catchment sitting in September).
Preparation
Because FSCE questions can draw on any KS2 subject, this is the only school practice here that deliberately mixes in science and general knowledge. FSCE publishes familiarisation guides only — no past papers exist and it designs against coaching. Broad knowledge, wide reading and calm exam craft are the honest prep.
